宮古島記事仕次 / Legends of Miyako Island
『宮古島記事仕次』は、宮古島の忠導(ちゅうどう)氏おやけ屋の大主(ウプシュ)が書き残した宮古島に関する資料を、乾隆13(1748)年5月に在番筆者の明有文長良(めいゆうぶんちょうりょう)が和漢の文字を交えて編集した本である。内容は、宮古の神話・伝承などを忠導氏を中心にまとめたものである。本書は、その写本。書写年代不明。罫紙に書かれている。本書の目次は、後半部分が欠落している。また、本文の後半部分も欠落している。欠落しているのは、後半の7つの記事である。(2017年4月20日更新）
Miyakojima kiji sitsugi was edited in May, 1748 by Meiyūbun Chōryō who was a Zaiban hissha (a governmental official dispatched from Shuri Ōfu,) he redacted in a mixed writing with both kanji and kana, the materials about Miyakojima which Chūdō uji Oyakeya no Upushu wrote down. It contains the myth and the folklore of Miyakojima related to Chūdō uji which edited by Chūdō uji themself. This book is the manuscript. Its completed year is unknown. It is written on a ruled paper. The latter parts of the table of contents in this book is missing. Besides, the latter part of the text is also missing. The missing parts are 7 articles of the latter half. (Updated on November 4, 2022)
