No title written on the front cover; the title used here is based on its contents. The author and the completion date are unknown. This is a record of the Kabayama Family (a branch family of the Shimazu Clan, the family's progenitor is Shimazu Sukehisa). This material is probably a part of the book since it starts from the middle of a sentence and also starts from the section describing Shimazu Yoshihisa, the eighth head of the family. It describes the history, and achievements of the later heads: Tadasoe, Tadasuke, Norihisa, Tadayuki, Hisataka, etc. Kabayama Hisataka became the karō, the head advisor of the Shimazu, and organized the Ryūkyū Tokaishū (the troops for fighting in Ryukyu), serving as the captain of the Shimazu Troop, which is mentioned in this material (on and after Image no. 82).(Updated on August 10, 2015)
