解説

天保3(1832)年11月15日付けの地方文書1枚。「口上」として、鳥飼・三ヶ牧の庄屋から周辺村々の庄屋・年寄中へあてたもの。内容は、琉球使節が淀川遡航をする時に各村から出される綱引人足についての通達である。集合時間や各村からの人数、人足についてのきまりを書いている。(2015年10月27日更新)

Description

This is a sheet of a local official document, dated November 15, 1832. It was addressed as kōjō (a memorandum) from shōya (the headman ) of Torikai and Sangamaki Villages to shōya and toshiyori (the administrative chief) of other neighboring villages. This is a letter of notice regarding the boat-tracking laborers, forcibly collected from villages near the Yodo River when the Ryukyuan envoys sailed on the Yodo River. It describes the gathering time, the number of laborers required from each village, and the rules of ninsoku labor. (Updated on October 27, 2015)
