中山伝信録 巻一 / Record of transmitted facts of Chūzan, vol. 1
徐葆光著。明和3(1766)年刊の和刻本。平安蘭園蔵板。京都の服天游の撰。平安書林酉山房の銭屋善兵衛発行。6冊1帙。徳島藩蜂須賀家の蔵書印、柴野栗山(しばのりつざん)の蔵書印、宝玲文庫の蔵書印が押されている。1巻は、封舟(ほうしゅう)、乗組の員役、船の針路、往復の航海日誌、定更法、風信、天妃霊応、諭祭海神文などについて記す。ところどころに朱筆で傍点が書き込まれている。(2015年3月31日更新)
Written by Xu Baoguang (Jpn., Jo Hokō). A print made in Japan, and published in 1766. A Heianran'en print. Compiled by Fukuten'yū in Kyoto. Published by Zeniya Zenbei of Heian Shorin Yūsanbō. Consists of six volumes with a folding book case. There are three ownership stamps: the Hachisuka family of Tokushima Domain, Shibano Ritsuzan, and Frank Hawley. The first volume describes the two ships of Chinese envoys, the duties of the crew, the routes, voyage logs, the methods of measuring time, the methods of reading the wind, the divine prophecies from Tenpi (the Goddess of the Sea) in answer to prayers, the mystic formulas recited during the ritual of worshipping the sea god, etc. Some dots and notes in red ink can be found in some parts of the text.(Updated on January 8, 2016)
