重刻中山伝信録 巻一 / Record of transmitted facts of Chūzan, vol. 1, second edition
徐葆光著。和刻本。京都の蘭園蔵板。6巻6冊。成立年不明。明和3(1766)年に出版されたものか。津藩の藩校の蔵書印や「宝玲文庫」など4種類の蔵書印が押されている。1巻は、封舟(ほうしゅう)、乗組の員役、船の針路、往復の航海日誌、定更法、風信、天妃霊応、諭祭海神文などについて記す。(2015年3月31日更新)
Written by Xu Baoguang (Jpn., Jo Hokō). A Ran'en print made in Kyoto. Consists of six volumes. The completion date is unknown, but probably published in 1766. Four ownership stamps, including Frank Hawley and Tsu Domain School, can be found. The first volume describes the two ships of Chinese envoys, the duties of the crew, the routes, voyage logs, the methods of measuring time, the methods of reading the wind, divine prophecies from Tenpi (the Goddess of the Sea) in answer to prayers, the mystic formulas recited during the ritual of worshipping the sea god, etc.(Updated on January 12, 2016)
