琉球入学見聞録巻之一 / Firsthand record of Ryukyuans entering school, vol. 1

Edited by Pan Xiang (Jpn., Han Sō), who was a student advisor at Ryukyu Kangaku (a section of Guozijian, Jpn. Kokushikan or the National School of China, where Ryukyuan students studied). Published in 1764. The edition is printed from woodblocks included in Kyūkokaku, the holdings of a book collector named Mao Jin (Jpn., Mō Shin), who lived during the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties. This is the first volume out of four. It consists of "Preface, Contents, Explanatory Notes, Works Cited, and The First Volume."(Updated on January 22, 2016)
